Senior Solution Architect, Retail Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, optimization, and deployment of Blue Yonder Retail Planning software solutions for clients, incorporating industry best practices and process methodologies.

• Utilize domain expertise to comprehend and determine how Blue Yonder solutions can be tailored and delivered to satisfy customer needs and business processes.

• Guide solution design to ensure clarity in construct, validation tasks, and timelines.

• Oversee and/or direct system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases of projects.

• Maintain a balance between project scope, timelines, and requirements to guarantee timely delivery of value and customer satisfaction.

• Evaluate business needs beyond the standard solution or scope, including integration complexities, architectural limitations, and product roadmaps.

• Identify and emphasize additional revenue opportunities with current customers and projects.

• Present business cases to PMG and PD concerning customer-specific requirements related to product functionality and enhancements.

• Act as the functional liaison among key customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and third-party consultants to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6-10 years of proven experience in delivering Advanced Retail Planning solutions end-to-end within the retail sector is essential.

• Proven experience with the Blue Yonder Planning suite of solutions, encompassing Planning, Assortment, or Allocation is a must.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting design sessions, interpreting business requirements, and aligning them with Retail Solution functionalities, performing system integration, and supporting user acceptance testing and issue resolution.

• Experience in implementing solutions that utilize Cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint for managing professional documents and communications.
