Senior Solution Architect – PubSec – FedCiv

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Lead one or more workstreams in complex enterprise customer engagements.

• Act as a strategic advisor and expert on Salesforce products and platforms.

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define and achieve the solution vision.

• Deliver essential customer engagement and implementation outcomes.

• Serve as a reliable advisor to clients.

• Spearhead internal initiatives to enhance the consulting practice and contribute to the community knowledge base.

• Guide customers and colleagues in the deployment of technologies that enhance business value.

• Facilitate communication and clarify complex concepts across client organizations.

• Proactively manage risk areas until they are fully resolved.

• Oversee customer expectations and negotiate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and adjust project or program direction, methodologies, and key deliverables.

• Drive program vision and advise on strategies that leverage Salesforce platform technologies.

• Partner with Customer Success, Product teams, cloud-specific practice teams, and professional services communities.

• Analyze requirements and information, develop comprehensive solutions, and secure customer acceptance.

• Adhere to Salesforce Professional Services Methodology and contribute to thought leadership and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level projects utilizing waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the full life cycle.

• Extensive experience in configuring and customizing the Salesforce platform.

• Authority-level experience in defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps between current and desired end states, and delivering comprehensive solutions.

• Proven experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.

• Experience documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, and sequence diagrams.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

• Experience with large-scale or enterprise implementations involving multiple workstreams.

• Ability to connect with individuals in various roles.

• Resourceful and entrepreneurial problem-solving skills.

• Potential travel of approximately 25%.

• Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Must be a U.S. citizen (either U.S.-born or naturalized).

• Must consent to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.

• Ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance or higher.

• Preferred: experience applying agile methodologies to achieve high-value business outcomes.

• Preferred: customer and/or partner success stories.

• Preferred: Experience Cloud experience.

• Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended.

• Preferred: experience in the Public Sector industry.

• Preferred: experience with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Service Cloud, OmniStudio, and Public Sector Solutions.
