Senior Solution Architect – NetApp

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients, sellers, field Solution Architects, service teams, and partner resources to evaluate requirements and formulate solution recommendations.

• Design and position NetApp solutions for storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, cloud storage, and AI data infrastructure.

• Facilitate customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and strategy discussions related to solutions.

• Transform requirements into scalable architectures, technical recommendations, bills of materials, proposals, and supporting documentation.

• Evaluate technical and competitive factors, identify risks or gaps, and propose corrective actions throughout the sales process.

• Assist account teams from opportunity identification and qualification through technical validation, proposal development, and closing.

• Convey intricate technical concepts and business value to technical, operational, and executive audiences.

• Act as a national NetApp subject matter expert for complex, strategic, and multi-region opportunities across CDW.

• Provide technical leadership for initiatives in storage modernization, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and AI-ready infrastructure.

• Establish and nurture strategic technical relationships with customers, NetApp field teams, internal sales, services, and delivery organizations.

• Maintain relevant partner technical certifications and stay updated on NetApp roadmaps, emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

• Contribute to reference architectures, solution playbooks, best practices, technical collateral, and enablement content.

• Offer technical coaching, mentoring, and enablement to architects, specialists, engineers, executives, and sellers.

• Collaborate with cloud, compute, networking, security, virtualization, AI, consulting, and professional services teams to create integrated multi-vendor solutions.

• Engage in customer executive briefings, partner events, technical forums, industry conferences, and joint go-to-market activities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience along with 5 years in a technical, pre-sales, architecture, engineering, consulting, or post-sale delivery role; or a comparable combination of relevant education and experience.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and related data center technologies.

• Practical understanding of NetApp architecture, products, technologies, and solutions, including ONTAP and associated data services.

• Capability to work effectively with cross-functional sales, services, delivery, partner, and technical teams.

• Excellent communication, presentation, discovery, and facilitation skills.

• Proficiency in designing and conveying comprehensive solutions, analyzing complex issues, building consensus, and addressing technical gaps.

• Ability to link technical recommendations to business outcomes and support opportunity strategy.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% or as required.

• Current NetApp technical certifications relevant to the role and aligned with CDW partner requirements are a plus.

• Experience in architecting NetApp solutions in enterprise, hybrid cloud, virtualization, container, data protection, cyber resiliency, or AI infrastructure environments is a plus.

• Experience supporting enterprise customers and handling complex, multi-practice, or strategic infrastructure opportunities is a plus.

• Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or related technologies is a plus.

• Experience in delivering technical enablement, mentoring peers, or developing reusable solution assets and go-to-market content is a plus.
