Senior Solution Architect – Consumer Goods Cloud, Trade Promotion Management

📋 Description

• Lead one or several workstreams in complex enterprise customer engagements.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance the customer vision and fulfill critical deliverables.

• Provide hands-on advisory services to customers utilizing solution, technical, Salesforce product, industry, consulting, and client-business expertise.

• Ensure customers achieve a favorable return on their investments.

• Present and facilitate the solution vision and its execution with customers.

• Navigate challenging discussions and eliminate barriers to implementing business strategies.

• Analyze challenges and obstacles, address root causes, and propose corrective actions.

• Collaborate with customer product owners, business process owners, technical resources, and C-suite executives.

• Comprehend customer needs, analyze data, and develop comprehensive solutions.

• Serve as a strategic advisor and expert on Salesforce products and platforms for complex enterprise clients.

• Assist customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that enhance business value.

• Guide agents in supporting delivery efforts.

• Educate on complex concepts and offer creative, prescriptive recommendations across various levels within the client organization.

• Identify and proactively manage risks until resolved completely.

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate intricate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and adjust project or program direction, approach, and essential documents.

• Keep programs on schedule and ensure solutions remain scalable and maintainable.

• Drive program vision and articulate project strategies that leverage Salesforce platform technologies.

• Champion the Salesforce Professional Services Methodology.

• Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to meet value objectives.

• Contribute to thought leadership and best practices within cloud-specific practice teams and the wider market.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise-level projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the entire life cycle.

• At least 3 years of experience in Consumer Goods, with hands-on Consumer Goods Cloud experience and a deep understanding of Retail Execution and Trade Promotion Management.

• Extensive experience in configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform.

• Familiarity with AI toolchains such as Claude, Cursor, and Elements Cloud.

• Expert-level experience in defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps between current and desired end states, and delivering comprehensive solutions.

• Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, crafting user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.

• Proficient in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, and sequence diagrams.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to function as a team player on large-scale or enterprise implementations involving multiple workstreams.

• Capability to communicate effectively with individuals in diverse roles.

• Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred; equivalent demonstrable work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Proven success in delivering high-value business outcomes using an agile methodology is preferred.

• Relevant Salesforce certifications and accreditations, including CG Cloud and REX Accreditation, are preferred.

• Consulting experience is highly recommended.
