Senior Solution Architect, Azure Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the system architecture roadmap and make key technical decisions for a suite of solutions.

• Coordinate and lead agile development teams in the design, estimation, development, testing, and delivery of commercial software products.

• Effectively communicate the mission, architecture, deadlines, and expectations.

• Provide expert development, configuration, support, and enhancements for web and cloud SaaS multi-tenant solutions.

• Ensure system scalability and performance through suitable architectural designs.

• Participate in project planning activities, including estimations, timelines, milestones, and progress monitoring.

• Modify plans and priorities as needed.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp business requirements, interdependencies, and obstacles.

• Write clean code for both functional web and server-side applications.

• Develop and design generic, secure, and scalable RESTful services and APIs.

• Mentor and coach junior team members.

• Execute other essential duties and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in Web and Cloud development utilizing various technologies, frameworks, and tools.

• Proven experience in architecting and implementing Cloud SaaS multi-tenant systems.

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud technologies, environments, and services, including Application Gateway, Queues, Azure Functions, and B2C.

• In-depth knowledge of best practices in back-end architecture, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.

• Solid experience with C#, JSON, REST APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with development teams.

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Domain knowledge in life-cycle assessment is beneficial.

• Knowledge or experience with Delphi is a plus.

• Strong facilitation and coaching abilities.

• Capacity to think creatively to discover alternative solutions or innovative ways to address challenges.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a dynamic team setting.

• Proven skills in time management, organization, and follow-up to meet deadlines.
