Senior Software Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

• Create, maintain, and consistently enhance Quality processes, particularly emphasizing API and microservices testing.

• Foster and advocate for a quality-centric culture throughout the team and associated projects.

• Establish a collaborative relationship with the development team to synchronize and promote the advancement of projects and products.

• Conduct both manual and automated functional testing.

• Assess and address bugs in code, products, and production environments.

• Comprehend business requirements and rules to guarantee quality and consistency across projects and products.

• Engage in the team’s Agile ceremonies.

• Execute exploratory and integration testing based on customer specifications.

• Grasp API designs and patterns to perform tests effectively.

• Meet with customers to clarify and align requirements.

• Identify tools and innovations suitable for the project or product context.

• Develop and enhance product usage documentation.

• Outline test scenarios, encompassing both basic and alternative flows.

• Prepare test data sets for the defined test scenarios.

• Collaborate on data collection for metrics and provide estimates for the customer.

• Set up the test environment.

• Apply relevant testing concepts to ensure the quality of deliveries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Android testing tools such as Appium, Robot Framework, Robolectric, JUnit, MockK, Espresso, and UI Automator.

• Familiarity with backend testing tools including Postman and Newman.

• Experience using Jira, Git, Zephyr Scale, RabbitMQ, and OpenShift.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or GitLab.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Background in testing microservices and processing queues, particularly RabbitMQ.

• Proficient in using Git for version control.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience working in Agile teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of the solution delivery lifecycle and capability to suggest improvements.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

• Strong critical-thinking and application issue-validation abilities.

• Knowledge of querying logs to extract information and report bugs to the development team.

• Preferred: experience in test automation using JavaScript, Java, or Node.js.

• Preferred: experience with Cucumber, JUnit, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or JMeter.
