📋 Description

• Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot C++ software for ultra low-latency streaming systems.

• Implement WebRTC and associated real-time protocols along with congestion-control algorithms from the ground up, directly adhering to specifications.

• Identify deficiencies in current standards and create solutions through protocol design, reference implementations, and contributions to IETF Internet-Drafts and RFCs.

• Define and establish KPIs related to networking quality, streaming quality, and user experience.

• Integrate streaming software with platform services, connectivity layers, and/or components of automotive systems.

• Develop next-generation applications featuring media and data streaming capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of WebRTC architecture and its internal workings.

• Practical experience across the transport, security, and media pathways — including ICE, STUN/TURN, DTLS-SRTP, SCTP data channels, and RTP/RTCP with feedback loops for pacing and bandwidth estimation.

• Over 8 years of experience in developing, optimizing, and debugging C++ software.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Solid understanding of operating systems, multithreading, memory management, networking, and systems programming.

• Capability to debug complex issues spanning software, operating systems, media pipelines, platforms, and hardware boundaries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a self-driven approach.

• Contributions to open-source real-time media projects or involvement in IETF/W3C standards work are a plus.

• Familiarity with video codecs and formats like H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, AV1, color spaces, or hardware-accelerated encoding/decoding is favorable.

• Experience with QNX, QNX Safety, Linux, or embedded operating systems designed for safety-critical applications is advantageous.

• Knowledge of automotive software, telematics, connected vehicle platforms, or vehicle connectivity is a plus.
