Senior Software Engineer – Typescript, FrontEnd – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AI-driven features throughout the complete stack, from backend inference services to frontend interfaces within the ClickHouse Cloud platform.

• Create robust and scalable APIs that link ClickHouse database functionalities with AI/ML inference systems and both external and internal AI services.

• Implement and sustain integrations with the wider AI/ML ecosystem and adhere to established standards.

• Integrate models into production environments with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation processes in place.

• Participate in the daytime on-call rotation.

• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex AI functionalities for users of varying technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience in production settings.

• Experience working directly with AI/ML technologies.

• Strong frontend development skills utilizing TypeScript/JavaScript and React.

• High level of ownership and the ability to drive features from concept to production with minimal oversight.

• Ability to excel in collaborative environments and convey technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.

• Nice to have: experience in integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production systems, including inference APIs and vector databases.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially regarding AI/ML deployment services.

• Nice to have: a solid understanding of database systems and data processing pipelines; experience with ClickHouse is a significant advantage.

• Nice to have: experience in creating data-oriented interfaces and visualizations.
