Senior Software Engineer – Typescript, Frontend, AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AI-driven features across the entire stack, from backend inference services to frontend interfaces within ClickHouse Cloud.

• Create robust and scalable APIs that link ClickHouse database functionalities with AI/ML inference systems and both internal and external AI services.

• Implement and sustain integrations with the larger AI/ML ecosystem and its standards.

• Incorporate models into production systems ensuring monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation.

• Participate in the daytime on-call rotation.

• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces that make complex AI functionalities accessible to users with diverse technical backgrounds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience in production settings.

• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.

• High sense of ownership and capability to drive features from concept to production with minimal oversight.

• Ability to excel in collaborative environments and convey technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.

• Strong frontend development skills using TypeScript/JavaScript and React.

• Nice to have: experience in integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production systems, including inference APIs and vector databases.

• Nice to have: knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially regarding AI/ML deployment services.

• Nice to have: understanding of database systems and data processing pipelines; experience with ClickHouse is a considerable advantage.

• Nice to have: experience in creating data-oriented interfaces and visualizations.
