Senior Software Engineer, TypeScript – AI Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Assess the quality of interactions with contemporary coding agents like OpenAI Codex and Claude Code.

• Analyze AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish.

• Evaluate whether outputs are beneficial, accurate at a high level, and consistent with sound engineering principles.

• Examine the quality of explanations and reasoning, not solely the code itself.

• Differentiate between various levels of response quality.

• Offer clear, well-informed written feedback on what was effective, what was ineffective, and what seemed misleading.

• Aid in defining the benchmarks of excellence when collaborating with Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code.

• Create brief video explanations of evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineer (or equivalent experience).

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.

• Practical experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.

• Extensive knowledge of modern AI-assisted development methodologies.

• Capability to assess code without executing it or reviewing each line individually.

• Proficient written and spoken English (B2 or higher).

• Comfortable providing direct, informed feedback.

• High standards for engineering excellence.

• Previous experience with prompt design or evaluation processes (preferred).

• Background in mentoring senior engineers or establishing engineering standards (preferred).

• Must complete a take-home evaluation exercise accompanied by a recorded Loom walkthrough.
