This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.
• Create and develop global, asset-agnostic money movement systems that span various regions, currencies, and financial partners.
• Construct production flows that manage both fiat and stablecoins.
• Design and maintain scalable systems to transfer and reconcile funds across different jurisdictions, channels, and asset types.
• Integrate observability into every layer of the system.
• Lead incident response efforts and implement long-term reliability enhancements.
• Remain updated on fintech, technology, and compliance trends to adapt systems as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, customer success, and finance teams.
• Oversee and manage essential Treasury systems for the business.
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience, demonstrating a history of owning and managing business-critical systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on correctness, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Experience with backend systems, including APIs, services, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with relational databases like Postgres and MySQL.
• Knowledge of transactions, data integrity, and performance trade-offs.
• Experience with ORMs such as TypeORM or similar technologies.
• Capability to balance technical depth with product insight and make informed technical decisions.
• High expectations for code quality, reliability, and peer review processes.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to respectful collaboration.
• Ability to rapidly learn new domains, work across the technology stack, and adapt in dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and AWS, or strong foundational engineering principles.
• Preferred: Experience in the financial domain, particularly in payments, disbursements, custody, or card services.
• Preferred: Experience in designing stateless, scalable, and resilient systems with asynchronous workflows, distributed services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Preferred: Proficiency with AI development tools.
• Preferred: Full-stack experience encompassing backend, frontend, infrastructure, and data.
