Senior Software Engineer, Ticketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the frontend development for React web and React Native mobile ticketing platforms.

• Enhance GoFan's product offerings with additional payment options, product categories, and user experiences.

• Create checkout, concessions, and fundraising solutions aimed at increasing revenue for each event.

• Ensure rapid and accurate purchase, pass access, and redemption processes during peak usage times.

• Manage updates for the GoFan and Box Office applications, ensuring accessibility, CI-gated releases, rollback preparedness, and incident management.

• Develop web and mobile workflows for new event organizers and events.

• Collaborate with backend teams on API agreements, data accuracy, and handling failures.

• Enhance frontend architecture to boost maintainability, speed of delivery, and safety in contributions.

• Increase observability through telemetry, alerts, and verification after releases.

• Lead the strategy for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for high-risk workflows.

• Oversee incident triage, production debugging, and follow-up on root causes.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code creation, reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Guide engineers through design evaluations, implementation support, and collaborative coding.

• Collaborate with product, design, and platform colleagues to transform roadmap objectives into deployable segments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on frontend development and product delivery.

• Extensive production experience with React, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend application architectures.

• Proven experience in delivering mobile products using React Native.

• Strong understanding of API integration methods, error management, and data validation techniques in production environments.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage complex projects independently with effective cross-functional communication.

• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and functional testing coverage.

• Experience in high-traffic or time-sensitive sectors such as ticketing, e-commerce, payments, or event management.

• Ability to balance product delivery speed with quality, operational reliability, and long-term sustainability.
