Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement scalable enterprise software solutions utilizing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data360, Agentforce, and related technologies.

• Oversee complex projects from the solution design phase to deployment.

• Collaborate with Product Management to clarify requirements, estimate workloads, identify risks, and synchronize deliveries with project roadmaps.

• Design data-centric solutions aimed at enhancing customer engagement, automating business processes, and ensuring reliable enterprise data.

• Establish and maintain integrations between Salesforce, enterprise applications, cloud services, AI technologies, APIs, and external data sources.

• Utilize AI-driven and agentic software development methodologies to boost productivity, improve code quality, enhance testing, and facilitate documentation.

• Implement agentic business solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Data360, and sanctioned AI technologies.

• Apply configuration-before-code strategies and custom development practices as needed.

• Advocate for scalable design patterns, reusable components, secure coding practices, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

• Engage in code reviews, knowledge sharing, documentation, and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, DevOps, Security, Data, Sales, and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical fields delivering enterprise solutions.

• Proven track record of leading the technical execution of complex projects and delivering scalable, high-quality software.

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Salesforce platform solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Flows, declarative automation, integrations, security models, and platform data architecture.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with customer engagement platforms, customer data platforms, and enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, cloud services, authentication protocols, middleware, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience in designing and implementing AI-driven solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Data360, or other enterprise AI technologies.

• Background in agentic software development and AI-assisted engineering practices.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, system integration, data modeling, testing, debugging, source control, CI/CD, secure coding, and release management.

• Experience collaborating with Product Managers on requirements, estimations, technical trade-offs, and prioritized roadmaps.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in Agile software delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and release processes.

• Capacity to work autonomously while collaborating across Product, Engineering, Security, Data, DevOps, Quality Engineering, and business teams.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
