Senior Software Engineer – React.js, Next.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications utilizing React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.

• Create responsive, accessible, reusable, and high-performance user interface components.

• Develop and sustain front-end applications by integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, third-party systems, and enterprise platforms.

• Implement server-side rendering, static site generation, routing, API integration, and performance optimization using Next.js.

• Apply state management and data-fetching solutions effectively.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers on API contracts, integration strategies, error management, and data flows.

• Produce clean, reusable, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Ensure that performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, and security standards are met.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

• Troubleshoot and address technical issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

• Support CI/CD processes, cloud deployments, monitoring, release management, and production assistance.

• Engage in technical design and architecture discussions.

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

• Keep up to date with advancements in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web development technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of hands-on software development experience.

• Extensive experience in building enterprise-level web applications.

• Strong practical experience with React.js and Next.js.

• High proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern browser technologies.

• Experience in developing reusable and scalable React components and front-end architectures.

• Familiarity with Next.js SSR, SSG, routing, API integration, rendering strategies, and performance optimization.

• Experience with state management and data-fetching libraries like Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, React Query/TanStack Query, or SWR.

• Proven experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.

• Strong grasp of REST API integration, asynchronous programming, error handling, authentication, and authorization.

• Experience with UI frameworks, styling systems, or component libraries.

• Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers.

• Proficiency in Git, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.

• Experience with front-end testing and automation frameworks.

• Understanding of web application security, OAuth2, JWT, secure coding practices, and common web vulnerabilities.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of Docker and containerized application environments.

• Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools.

• Experience supporting production applications, including incident troubleshooting and resolution.

• Hands-on experience with incident management processes and tools like ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

• Preferred: experience in the healthcare domain, modern front-end frameworks, design systems, micro-frontends, GraphQL/API Gateways/gRPC, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, web performance optimization, accessibility standards, message-driven architectures, and technical leadership.
