Senior Software Engineer – Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions, planning, development, and testing of innovative features.

• Leverage insights from past positions and experiences to create cutting-edge fintech solutions for businesses.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to shape the user experience.

• Identify and resolve bugs, often working directly with users to ensure satisfaction.

• Oversee code reviews via Pull Requests while ensuring unit tests and quality standards are upheld.

• Assist in transitioning modules into standalone micro-services.

• Develop product features that impact tens of thousands of customers.

• Play a key role in new product initiatives and support the journey of ideas to market.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing web applications utilizing contemporary software engineering practices.

• Proficient in Python and Django.

• Expertise in Django is essential.

• Experience in debugging intricate database performance issues.

• Proven track record of building efficient and scalable backends while making practical trade-offs.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical subjects clearly and succinctly.

• Experience in an early-stage startup environment is highly advantageous.

• Fintech or Accounting experience is beneficial.

• Experience with ERP or Accounting Systems integrations is a plus.

• Familiarity with Purchase Orders is an added advantage.

• Knowledge of AWS DevOps is a plus.

• Having a product sense is a plus.
