Senior Software Engineer – Platform/Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a significant segment of the codebase.

• Guide the technical direction, offer insights, and ensure alignment with project objectives and industry best practices.

• Design and develop API-driven decision-making products.

• Write, test, debug, document, and maintain products and the platform according to established coding standards and methodologies.

• Collaborate with product management to facilitate the agile delivery of both existing and new products.

• Develop unit, dependency, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify product-related issues.

• Ensure that the platform and services comply with SLA requirements.

• Participate in the engineering on-call rotation for addressing production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development, focusing on enterprise or consumer-facing products.

• Proven experience in creating API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Good interpersonal skills along with a sense of humor.

• Knowledge of RDBMS, including PostgreSQL, with the ability to write efficient queries featuring optimal structures.

• Familiarity with Docker and AWS technologies.

• Experience in the fintech sector or financial services.

• Understanding of Scrum/agile development methodologies.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must reside in the United States.
