Senior Software Engineer – Onboarding Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform the enterprise mortgage-lender onboarding process into a scalable software product.

• Develop tenant provisioning for customized enterprise environments, encompassing organizational hierarchies, permissions, workflows, document types, and integration credentials.

• Create configuration-as-code workflows featuring diffing, pull-request reviews, environment promotion, and rollback capabilities.

• Construct migration tools for both ongoing loan pipelines and historical data from Encompass and other legacy systems.

• Generate reconciliation reports for the leadership of customer operations.

• Enhance the release machinery with tenant-specific feature flags, phased lender rollouts, and deployments that are aware of tenant contexts.

• Develop smoke tests and conformance suites to validate end-to-end integration processes.

• Deploy production code on the first day and engage in a mission-critical project within the first month.

• Focus on improving the foundational engineering aspects rather than merely circumventing limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in productizing an implementation process.

• Familiarity with configuration-as-code, including versioning, diffing, validating, and promoting customer configurations across environments.

• Experience in data migration under tight deadlines, with an emphasis on validation, reconciliation, and rollback strategies.

• Experience with multi-tenant systems (preferred).

• An SRE-oriented mindset (preferred).

• Strong awareness of security risks (preferred).

• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi (preferred).

• Background in extending CI/CD systems (preferred).

• Full-stack development skills (preferred).

• Willingness to collaborate closely with implementation teams (preferred).

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node/Express, GraphQL/Apollo, Postgres, AWS, Docker, Terraform, and testing as part of the technology stack.
