Senior Software Engineer – .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Strategize, implement, and prioritize intricate challenges related to the financial sector and/or engineering platform offerings.

• Act as a primary source of reference for decisions pertaining to solutions.

• Assist the team in addressing issues with undefined parameters and work in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Provide recommendations and constructive insights, aiding in technical choices and disseminating technical expertise throughout the team.

• Independently establish and deliver technical roadmaps for significant projects, frequently involving dependencies across teams.

• Create solutions that facilitate accessible and appropriate credit for entrepreneurs while supporting Stone’s banking services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in software development using C#.

• In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Strong grasp of design patterns and SOLID principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of unit and integration testing.

• Fluent in Git and familiar with Gitflow methodology.

• Knowledgeable in Docker and containerization technologies.

• Experience using observability tools such as Elasticsearch and Datadog.

• Capable of producing clean and maintainable code.

• Familiar with agile methodologies, especially Kanban and/or Scrum, and their practical implementation.

• Nice to have: Experience with Azure and Google Cloud; Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Hexagonal Architecture; relational and non-relational data modeling; CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps; a strong interest in and knowledge of the financial market.
