Senior Software Engineer, .NET / Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain intricate enterprise applications utilizing C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure.

• Create and sustain user interfaces, business logic, backend services, and SQL Server stored procedures.

• Architect and implement scalable solutions using microservices architecture along with cloud-native technologies.

• Offer technical leadership and guidance to developers, aiding in architectural decisions and promoting engineering best practices.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for Product Owners, Business Analysts, and external teams.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Assist with Scrum Master duties and coordinate development efforts as necessary.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Ensure code quality, application performance, reliability, and maintainability by adhering to engineering standards and conducting unit testing.

• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, including production incidents and third-level support requests.

• Support the development and operation of containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Participate in technical discussions regarding application architecture, system integration, and distributed messaging.

• Identify technical risks, address development impediments, and collaborate with other teams when additional expertise is needed.

• Mentor team members and advocate for continuous enhancement in engineering practices and software delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in web application and services development within large-scale enterprise settings.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and SQL, encompassing business logic, backend services, and SQL Server stored procedures.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Angular, JavaScript, and HTML.

• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.

• Significant experience in designing and developing applications using microservices architecture.

• Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with unit testing and software engineering best practices.

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases.

• Strong understanding of publish/subscribe patterns and asynchronous messaging.

• Experience with Knockout.js and MVVM architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and team coordination.

• Proven experience providing technical guidance, mentoring developers, and leading software development teams.

• Demonstrated ability to independently investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, with the capability to collaborate across both technical and business teams.

• Experience in developing or maintaining large-scale enterprise systems with over 500 database tables (preferred).

• Familiarity with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments (preferred).

• Experience in supporting complex enterprise applications in production environments (preferred).
