Senior Software Engineer – Kotlin/Java, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop backend systems for brand measurement utilized by leading advertisers

• Take ownership of features from identifying customer challenges to production

• Design and implement microservices and RESTful APIs for the analytics platform

• Create data pipelines that process large amounts of advertising and survey data

• Integrate LLMs and causal inference into operational customer workflows

• Produce visualizations and straightforward campaign-performance insights via the internal AI analyst

• Construct Python analytics services and React frontends for features that span the full stack

• Deploy and manage systems on Kubernetes and AWS

• Automate deployment through CI/CD and monitor systems using DataDog and Sentry

• Productionize statistical models with the assistance of Data Science

• Collaborate with Product to shape features

• Mentor team members and share technical expertise

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with APIs, data systems, and distributed infrastructure

• Proven track record of clean architecture and dependable systems

• Experience in building RDBMS-backed backends using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Django, Rails, or Express

• Proficient in developing single-page frontends with React, Vue, or Angular

• Knowledgeable in UI frameworks, microservice architectures, databases, and cloud platforms

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot

• Adheres to structured practices including testing, documentation, CI/CD, and code review

• Possesses a mindset focused on observability, cost, and reliability

• Capable of mentoring others and sharing expertise

• Strong plus: Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Groovy using Spring Boot or Grails

• Strong plus: Knowledge of Presto and trade-offs between relational and NoSQL databases

• Strong plus: Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform

• Strong plus: Proficiency in React/Redux

• Strong plus: Background in startups and comfort with ambiguity

• Strong plus: Experience in AdTech, MarTech, or measurement platforms
