Senior Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assess, discuss, and make contributions to decisions regarding system architecture.

• Convert business needs into architectural frameworks and systems.

• Analyze, document, code, perform code reviews, debug, test, and deliver software applications.

• Oversee the environment and implement proactive measures to maintain platform health.

• Collaborate with relevant teams and departments.

• Participate in enhancing engineering processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming.

• Understanding of AI in the software development lifecycle.

• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.

• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.

• Experience with the Spring framework (Boot, Data, Cloud, etc.).

• Familiarity with Git, Gradle/Maven, and CI/CD tools.

• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or MySQL.

• Experience in developing REST APIs.

• Knowledge of communication methods utilizing message brokers like RabbitMQ, JMS, and Kafka.

• Understanding of system monitoring tools and practices, such as New Relic, Grafana, and ELK.

• Familiarity with test automation.

• Preferred: knowledge of SOLID principles, the Twelve-Factor methodology, and Domain-Driven Design; agile methodologies; Docker and Kubernetes; NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB; Node.js and/or Python; AWS and Terraform.
