Senior Software Engineer II, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement new product functionalities while also enhancing existing ones.

• Create frontend platform components for both internal and external products, including ecommerce storefronts like Shopify and Salesforce.

• Collaborate with other senior engineers to contribute to the architectural framework and uphold code quality standards.

• Partner with product and design teams to convert wireframes and mockups into functional user interface components.

• Design and manage backend services utilizing Golang and Node.js.

• Deploy code and infrastructure elements leveraging Google Cloud Platform and CI/CD practices.

• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, Spanner, and BigQuery.

• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems.

• Proven experience in creating consumer-oriented applications using frontend frameworks like React, Svelte, Angular, Vue, or Ember.

• Proficient in developing well-architected software with NodeJS or Golang.

• Experience in developing consumer-facing applications that integrate APIs from a microservices architecture.

• Strong understanding of the complete development lifecycle and fundamental computer science principles.

• Commitment to code quality and conducting thorough code reviews.

• Experience in mentoring fellow engineers.

• Previous experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a bonus.
