Senior Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Analytics & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver product features from start to finish

• Create clear and well-structured design documentation

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers

• Guide decisions on application architecture

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve software issues

• Implement back-end APIs using Python and Node.JS

• Work on single-page applications (SPAs) with React, Vue, and Ember

• Collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers

• Engage in an Agile software development lifecycle

• Produce well-crafted, maintainable, and testable code

• Employ a product-oriented, customer-focused mindset

• Contribute to open-source projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing web-based applications

• Proven track record of guiding high-quality work through delivery with multiple developers

• Proficiency in web frameworks such as Django or Rails

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Ember, Angular, etc.)

• Experience in writing REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec)

• Skilled in writing software tests

• Ability to independently address technical challenges

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform

• Knowledge of Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript

• Experience with React or Ember.JS

• Familiarity with cloud computing services, such as AWS

• Experience with SaaS web applications

• Bonus: Experience with Docker or Kubernetes

• Background checks will be conducted
