Senior Software Engineer – Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance new functionalities.

• Assume responsibility for developing essential systems for the organization.

• Oversee system performance and evaluate the effects of system modifications.

• Document all implemented modifications.

• Construct and sustain production systems, emphasizing performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience, and integration with the application ecosystem.

• Identify architectural and developmental process gaps and propose effective solutions.

• Perform code and documentation assessments.

• Establish automated testing procedures.

• Program software using Go.

• Engage with the team through code reviews, showcasing best practices and suggesting possible enhancements.

• Capability to identify architectural and developmental process gaps and propose effective solutions.

• Skill in conducting code and documentation evaluations.

• Experience in implementing automated testing.

• Proficiency in software development using Go.

• Familiarity with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Ability to collaborate with the team through code reviews, showcasing best practices and suggesting potential improvements.

• Knowledge of messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka, or IBM MQ is advantageous.

• Awareness of concepts such as microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, or Lambda Architecture is a plus.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational data modeling is a bonus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Azure DevOps is an added advantage.

• Experience with public and private cloud environments like OpenStack, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is beneficial.

• Knowledge of and interest in the financial market is a plus.
