Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive full-stack solutions ranging from user interfaces to database interactions and application layer communications.

• Take the lead in designing and implementing end-to-end features throughout the stack, with a focus on high-performance ASP.NET Core services.

• Design and maintain secure APIs that integrate with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), imaging partners, and AI services.

• Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming sessions, and design discussions.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and clinical teams to convert requirements into experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.

• Establish automated testing strategies for unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Advocate for CI/CD and DevOps practices within Azure.

• Implement engineering best practices, enhance performance, and improve observability.

• Influence the technical roadmap and actively participate in Agile development activities, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven full-stack experience with a strong sense of ownership over both modern frontend and backend technologies in a production setting.

• Proficient in designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures; experience in shaping data models and defining domain boundaries.

• Experience in deploying and managing workloads in Azure or AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server.

• Skilled in automated testing using xUnit/NUnit/Jest/Playwright and committed to maintaining clean code standards.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, lead projects, and shape engineering strategies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach in a cross-functional Agile environment.
