Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack – App Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Decompose larger projects into manageable tasks and deliver them across multiple phases.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

• Work closely with product management, design, and analytics during the ideation and decision-making processes.

• Clearly communicate technical limitations while assessing risks and trade-offs.

• Develop and track metrics that support artifact operations and availability.

• Raise issues and assist with ongoing support and on-call responsibilities.

• Engage in growth and development activities, including conducting interviews.

• Participate in front-end-facing cross-team initiatives across mobile and web technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.

• Proven experience in shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Experience in shipping mobile applications utilizing either native or cross-platform languages like React Native.

• Background in designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.

• Capability to convert straightforward problems or business scenarios into solutions involving multiple software components.

• Proficiency in writing clear, well-tested, and maintainable code.

• Ability to navigate a large codebase and debug others' code efficiently.

• Experience in providing constructive feedback through code reviews.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
