Senior Software Engineer – Full-stack, Growth Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create experiences that connect users to Kraken’s ecosystem while facilitating acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Develop reusable services and components for marketing initiatives, onboarding, KYC, and initial funding experiences on both web and mobile platforms.

• Work together on distributed systems that manage significant volumes of global traffic.

• Engage in design and architectural discussions.

• Assess, experiment, and iterate using data and experimentation frameworks.

• Maintain and enhance engineering standards, performance, and security practices throughout the stack.

• Convert business objectives into engineering solutions that yield measurable results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on building and maintaining large-scale production systems.

• Expertise in developing full-stack applications utilizing TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or Ruby, along with React or React Native.

• Knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, debugging, and secure software design.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, or GitLab CI/CD.

• A product-oriented mindset that emphasizes business metrics and outcomes.

• Capability to work independently in a globally distributed, remote-first setting.

• Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics instrumentation, experimentation platforms, growth engineering, user funnels, lifecycle management, conversion optimization, data analysis tools, or experimentation frameworks is a plus.
