📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions aimed at optimizing and scaling the Instacart platform and associated technologies, with a focus on fulfillment operations.

• Create highly scalable software utilizing principles of computer science and software engineering.

• Set up protocols for the swift deployment of upgrades and new features.

• Analyze and enhance costly SQL queries.

• Conduct ongoing testing and analysis of existing systems.

• Independently carry out performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.

• Identify design solutions for problematic programming issues.

• Examine and refine complex architectures.

• Suggest new systems to enhance delivery and operational excellence.

• Utilize AI toolsets to streamline development processes.

• Establish new standards to elevate the engineering quality of partner-centric products.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

• 2 years of experience in the position offered or a related role.

• 2 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or comparable programming languages.

• 2 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems.

• 2 years of experience with client/server and application architectures.

• 2 years of experience managing large codebases within cross-functional teams.

• 2 years of experience utilizing advanced AI toolsets to expedite development processes.

• 2 years of experience extracting insights from complex data sets.

• In lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) along with 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered or a related role is acceptable.
