Senior Software Engineer – Front End/Back End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a skilled individual contributor within a software engineering team.

• Assist in defining scope, scheduling, and meeting delivery requirements with minimal guidance from leadership.

• Contribute to the long-term objectives of the program and the execution of its development strategy.

• Serve as the primary lead for the discipline when collaborating with stakeholders.

• Maintain stewardship of an application code base.

• Facilitate integration with related technical systems and ecosystems.

• Identify and resolve system issues, using incidents to inform enhancements to the system.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.

• Convey technical challenges and advancements to team members and clients.

• Engage in technical interviews.

• Suggest and assess solutions to technical and process-related issues.

• Lead small, less critical, temporary project teams and structures.

• Present design documents and system diagrams to clients, stakeholders, partners, and engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience.

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• Advanced knowledge in at least one technical domain, including frontend, backend, or infrastructure engineering.

• Proven ability to demonstrate expertise, accountability, and ownership of contributions to an application code base.

• Comprehensive understanding of related technical fields and ecosystems.

• Capability to diagnose and resolve system issues.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers effectively.

• Proficient in communicating technical challenges and developments with team members and clients.

• Strong skills in influencing and evaluating technical and process methodologies.

• Ability to work remotely.
