Senior Software Engineer, Developer Tools for Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development of profiling tools within the Nsight suite.

• Design and implement features for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing performance profiling data in both cluster and cloud settings.

• Contribute throughout the complete product feature lifecycle, from creating prototypes to presenting user demonstrations.

• Collaborate with various teams to comprehend requirements, user needs, and expectations.

• Leverage knowledge of fundamental hardware and software to provide valuable features for users.

• Work alongside team members across different time zones.

• Interface with both internal and external users to help them optimize product value, while also relaying feedback to the product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong problem-solving abilities, along with collaborative and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in C++, Rust, or Go, with a willingness to develop some features in C++.

• Proven experience working with Kubernetes and in distributed computing environments.

• Solid understanding of algorithms and computer architecture.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant software role.

• Background in GPUs, CUDA, HPC, clusters, networking, and performance optimization in cloud environments.

• Experience in the deployment and maintenance of microservices.

• Familiarity with building web APIs and knowledge of GraphQL.

• Proficiency in using Datadog, ClickHouse, and Grafana.

• Experience with Go and Rust programming languages.
