Senior Software Engineer - Consultant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy comprehensive full-stack features utilizing Java/Spring Boot, Python, and React.

• Create responsive, reusable UI components and workflows within React.

• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend microservices.

• Implement integrations between internal applications and external vendor platforms.

• Develop and enhance chatbot user interfaces within React-based applications.

• Construct conversational UI features, including message streams, interaction flows, response rendering, user input management and validation, as well as real-time backend integrations.

• Provide seamless, intuitive, and accessible user experiences for chatbots.

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Azure or AWS.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration tasks.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to address security, performance, and monitoring aspects.

• Engage in agile ceremonies including standups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Work with product owners, engineers, architects, and business teams to refine project requirements.

• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.

• Implement best practices regarding security, maintainability, and performance.

• Take part in technical solution ownership as well as design and architectural discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.

• Strong hands-on expertise in React with TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Solid hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.

• Practical experience in developing chatbot UI features in a production environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DocumentDB.

• Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.

• Experience with cloud platforms; Azure preferred, AWS acceptable.

• Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and operational best practices.

• Background investigation is required.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
