Senior Software Engineer – Client Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Develop reliable and fault-tolerant software utilizing Python, Django, GraphQL, Celery, and PostgreSQL

• Take responsibility for the technical architecture and address complex challenges in domain modeling

• Lead significant milestones, establish direction, maintain cadence, and make informed technical trade-offs

• Liaise with related teams on cross-functional projects to foster collaboration

• Convey technical concepts across various domains and to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Establish engineering standards through both code and conduct

• Ensure comprehensive documentation for features and rollouts

• Mentor and sponsor engineers in their professional development

• Assist with client implementation, product growth, innovation, and incident management

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and Django (or a similar web framework)

• Experience in domain modeling and architectural design

• Knowledge of GraphQL

• Capability in writing robust and fault-tolerant software

• Familiarity with Celery and asynchronous processing

• Proficient in PostgreSQL

• Must possess the right to work in Australia at the time of application

• Visa sponsorship is not available

• Bonus: Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes
