Senior Software Engineer, Certificate Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design and implementation of essential cryptographic infrastructure.

• Establish technical strategies spanning multiple quarters for innovative cryptographic solutions.

• Lead ambitious projects and deploy secure, resilient cryptographic protocols within a high-stakes, zero-trust framework.

• Influence engineering quality standards as a technical leader and mentor.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to eliminate single points of failure.

• Foster alignment and secure commitment from cross-functional teams in Security, Product, and Policy.

• Create high-availability certificate management services for both internal and external partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering focused on building highly available, distributed systems.

• In-depth knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and applied cryptography.

• Experience in managing certificate authorities.

• Proficiency in automating X.509 certificate lifecycles including issuance, renewal, revocation, and trust-chain distribution.

• Experience in safeguarding private key material using HSMs or cloud KMS.

• Extensive programming skills in Golang, Java, C++, or Rust.

• Ability to function effectively in a Golang-centric environment.

• Experience managing Tier-0 or highly critical infrastructure.

• Proven track record in leading technical strategy, architecture, and deliverables for large-scale initiatives.

• Experience in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and translating them into engineering solutions.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI with human oversight.

• Must reside in the USA.
