Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain Protocols

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance scalable, dependable, and high-performance systems for the ingestion and parsing of complex blockchain data.

• Utilize AI-driven engineering processes (LLMs, automated agents) to boost team efficiency and improve code quality.

• Offer expertise in blockchain protocols (EVM, UTXO, etc.) to the team and cross-functional partners.

• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, including production monitoring, debugging, and ensuring the reliability of our pipelines and services.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to guarantee that our datasets align with the evolving requirements of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design documentation, and technical guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing distributed systems or data-heavy applications.

• A proactive approach to shipping and the capability to iterate swiftly in a dynamic environment.

• Proven ability to utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance speed while ensuring reliable and maintainable code.

• Profound knowledge and experience with at least one blockchain protocol.

• Familiarity with non-EVM chains such as Solana, TON, and Sui.

• Experience in indexing and ETL at scale (Spark/Databricks).

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and managing services within Kubernetes.

• Contributions to open-source blockchain initiatives.
