Senior Software Engineer, Backend – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications utilizing Java and Oracle/SQL.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and establish technical solutions.

• Ensure high code quality by adhering to development best practices, conducting testing, and performing code reviews.

• Execute system and API integrations while guaranteeing performance, security, and reliability.

• Engage in defining system architecture and selecting appropriate technologies and tools.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes and technology infrastructure.

• Support the advancement of solutions that drive the cooperative’s operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java and Oracle/SQL.

• Demonstrated experience in developing back-end systems within corporate settings.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate with diverse business and technology stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges.

• Critical thinking skills and the capability to propose and implement high-quality technology solutions.

• Experience in large-scale projects and high-availability environments.

• Knowledge in system integration and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency with source code version control tools, such as Git.

• Involvement in technical communities, events, or technology-related initiatives.

• Experience in cooperative, financial, or digital services environments is advantageous.
