Senior Software Engineer, Backend – Card Loan Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical strategy by overseeing project planning, prioritization, and execution.

• Oversee the complete system design and development of large-scale, high-availability services.

• Develop robust APIs and data models for microservices and event-driven architectures.

• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting teams on card loan attribution and lifecycle strategy.

• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

• Enhance existing code and implement robust, scalable solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers, facilitate technical discussions and design reviews, and advocate for best practices through code reviews.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.

• Profound understanding of system design and architecture.

• Expertise in Python, Kotlin, or similar contemporary programming languages.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.

• Understanding of web frameworks and RESTful API development.

• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
