Senior Software Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain essential services and infrastructure that power Roadie’s logistics platform.

• Recognize and resolve performance issues, ensuring both reliability and scalability.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Data Science, and other engineering teams to implement significant features.

• Participate in code reviews, engage in technical discussions, and enhance engineering best practices.

• Assume responsibility for projects from inception to deployment, balancing speed and quality.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and propose ideas to enhance systems.

• Design and create systems that support large-scale logistics solutions.

• Advance Roadie’s platform architecture to fulfill scalability and performance requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and API design.

• Expertise in Golang or Ruby.

• Experience with or transitioning from a monolithic architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
