Senior Software Engineer – Back-End

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop backend solutions to facilitate financial workflows.

• Perform code reviews for fellow team members.

• Produce documentation, which includes design documents and postmortems.

• Architect cloud-based system solutions.

• Work collaboratively with the team to define technical solutions.

• Question assumptions and tackle complex challenges.

• Guide the technical and business trajectory of the team, focusing on high-value outcomes and technical excellence.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of squads with a medium- to long-term vision.

• Integrate financial releases and ensure account closure at the OLX Group level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing with Node.js and Golang, or proficiency in at least one programming language.

• Strong understanding of cloud applications and services.

• Experience in creating distributed, event-driven applications.

• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases, with hands-on experience in both relational and non-relational databases.

• Proven experience in developing scalable applications.

• Experience in monitoring application observability in a production environment.

• Knowledge of Git, GitLab CI, and Docker.

• Experience in financial billing is preferred and regarded as a plus.
