Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop Python solutions utilizing AWS cloud computing capabilities.

• Innovate and refine AI- and LLM-based workflows.

• Collaborate within an agile setting to foster team success.

• Produce proofs of concept, prototypes, data-analysis solutions, and production-ready applications.

• Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Review solutions with colleagues to ensure maintainable and extensible outcomes.

• Exchange knowledge with and gain insights from peers across the organization.

• Engage with a fully remote, diverse engineering team.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues while challenging assumptions.

• Take part in peer code reviews.

• Develop and execute both manual and automated tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, alongside 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 5+ years in backend development; equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in creating production-level Python APIs and applications.

• Proven track record with architectural design and documentation of complex systems.

• At least 2 years of experience developing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or other LLM frameworks.

• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing production systems using AWS cloud technologies.

• Expertise in APIs, microservices, asynchronous tasks, ORMs, and task queues.

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Competence in tuning and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.

• Strong proficiency in unit, integration, and functional testing.

• Passion for Scrum and Agile methodologies.

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with non-technical team members.

• Capacity to creatively address challenges and learn rapidly and independently.

• Must be eligible to obtain a clearance.
