Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance, secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications for clients, clinicians, and internal users.

• Design and integrate new architectures, frameworks, and technologies.

• Improve and optimize existing systems by adding new features and enhancing stability.

• Collaborate with Product teams, Clinical Operations, stakeholders, and cross-functional colleagues.

• Comprehend client journeys through care and design software that supports exceptional therapeutic experiences.

• Create innovative products that merge human expertise with technology to revolutionize the mental health sector.

• Acquire a solid understanding of the codebase and application functionalities.

• Engage in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, scope definition, and technical specification discussions.

• Take ownership of and deliver significant cross-functional projects.

• Mentor junior developers while influencing architectural and technical planning decisions.

• Participate in architecture discussions, design sessions, code reviews, and testing activities.

• Convert product ideas and specifications into practical tasks and defined scopes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in a startup environment, emphasizing ownership, agility, and innovation.

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.

• Familiarity with our technology stack (Node/Express, Python/Django) or similar technologies.

• Experience with containerization (Docker or similar), Kubernetes, or comparable technologies is advantageous.

• Low ego with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

• 5-6+ years of engineering experience managing projects and developing scalable products.

• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
