This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, document, develop, and test cutting-edge web applications utilizing best practices and design patterns.
β’ Independently create, modify, and test software units in accordance with corporate software processes.
β’ Identify opportunities for software process enhancements, collaborate with peers, and implement suggested improvements.
β’ Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to produce modern, maintainable code.
β’ Generate software design specifications, interface descriptions, and additional software documentation.
β’ Convert high-level requirements into software design and implementation.
β’ Develop, execute, and validate unit and integration tests in collaboration with the Software Test team.
β’ Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure high quality.
β’ Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior engineers.
β’ Mentor, train, and assist the development of junior team members.
β’ Diagnose, replicate, and resolve build and deployment challenges; guide others as necessary.
β’ Create proof-of-concept projects showcasing new technologies or development methodologies.
β’ Represent Tandem Software Development in interactions with external entities, such as clinical research organizations, when assigned.
β’ Ensure adherence to company policies, Privacy/HIPAA regulations, and legal and regulatory standards.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in engineering, computer sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant job experience.
β’ 5 years of experience in cloud or web application software development or a related field.
β’ Expert-level knowledge of C# and .NET Core.
β’ Experience in designing, developing, and testing containerized microservices.
β’ Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerized services to Kubernetes via Helm.
β’ Proficient with SQL databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
β’ Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB, CosmosDB, and Cassandra.
β’ Familiarity with enterprise messaging buses such as Event Hubs, Kafka, or Kinesis is preferred.
β’ Proficient in using Docker containers for both development support and deployment.
β’ Knowledge of selecting and deploying cloud technologies in Azure and/or AWS.
β’ Capability to define and translate high-level requirements into software design and implementation.
β’ Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work without close supervision.
β’ Strong skills in articulating assignments and directing the work of junior team members.
β’ Proficient in conveying work-product information and facilitating group discussions.
β’ Ability to assert ideas and influence others by consolidating, evaluating, and presenting pertinent information.
β’ Capacity to adapt to change and advocate for improvements.
β’ Knowledge of REST API contract design.
β’ Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
