Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across front-end, back-end, cloud infrastructure, and test automation domains.

• Uphold high standards for internal services along with the maintenance of open-source tools and libraries.

• Regularly deploy service and infrastructure modifications in a lean agile setting utilizing full CI/CD practices.

• Participate in generating ideas, engaging with customers, planning, designing, prototyping, executing, shipping, and ensuring operational excellence.

• Work alongside engineers and cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and UX researchers.

• Guide junior engineers while balancing customer delivery with coding, service, and cloud infrastructure standards.

• Employ various problem-solving methods and validate concepts.

• Establish success criteria for yourself, your team, and the features conceived, developed, and launched.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java.

• Knowledgeable in algorithms, data structures, and coding best practices.

• Experience with distributed systems at scale.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture principles, benefits, and limitations.

• Practical experience with technologies such as Kinesis, Kafka, or comparable alternatives.

• Legally authorized to work in India on a continuous basis.

• Proficient in English is mandatory.

• Experience in enhancing large-scale event processing systems is preferred.

• Background in database log streams like MS-SQL Transaction Logs and MySQL Bin Logs is advantageous.

• Familiarity with stream processing frameworks like Flink, Spark, or others is a plus.

• Experience in squad lead or team lead roles is desirable.
