Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish.

• Design, develop, and manage full-stack features using TypeScript, Node.js, and React, covering everything from data models to user interfaces.

• Assist in defining services, data pipelines, and event flows as the product and customer base expands.

• Collaborate with AI engineers to transform agent workflows into dependable and polished user experiences.

• Manage sensitive financial data with built-in auditability and access control measures from the outset.

• Utilize AI coding tools on a daily basis and contribute to shaping the team's development practices with these tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully launched and managed production-level full-stack features from the backend data model to the user interface.

• Experienced in production-level TypeScript, including Node.js on the backend and React or Next.js on the frontend.

• Over 5 years of experience as a full-time software engineer following educational qualifications.

• At least one position held at an early-stage startup or within a startup-like team in a larger organization.

• Experience in developing payments, billing, ledger, or risk management systems within a fintech environment (e.g., Stripe, Ramp, or similar).

• More than 10 years of experience in building scalable backend and full-stack systems.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with fintech and billing platforms at Ramp and Constant Contact.

• Nice to Have: Experience working at Stripe in the FinTech and risk systems domains.

• Nice to Have: Proficiency in Python backend development and Kafka data pipelines.
