Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain front-end web applications utilizing contemporary web technologies.

• Develop and style responsive user interfaces to ensure an effective user experience.

• Build and sustain backend REST services along with the business logic that supports platform functionalities and agentic AI workflows.

• Contribute to agentic AI components using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.

• Assist in the development and deployment of cloud-based services and infrastructure on AWS, employing OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, and SQS.

• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Packer, and Terragrunt.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.

• Aid in testing, debugging, and enhancing performance.

• Maintain documentation for system architecture, APIs, and development methodologies.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• Must pass the CompTIA Security Plus Examination within 270 days of employment.

• U.S. Citizenship is required, with no dual citizenship permitted.

• Capability to obtain a secret security clearance.

• Experience in creating front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proficient in developing backend services and APIs, including RESTful service architecture and implementation of complex business logic, utilizing Python, Java, or NodeJS.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment.

• Preferred experience with: ReactJS, LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, multi-agent orchestration, autonomous workflow design, LLM integration patterns, AWS, OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS, Terraform, Packer, Terragrunt, and DevSecOps practices.
