Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on SAP SD.

• Assist in sales order processing, encompassing customer and material master data, item and schedule line categories, stock transfers, credit management, copy control, output determination, and tax determination.

• Aid in shipping, transportation, and delivery operations.

• Manage sales documents such as standard sales orders, scheduling agreements, returns, consignment, third-party processing, credit and debit memos, and contracts.

• Oversee partner functions, partner types, partner determination procedures, customer master, material master, and BOM data.

• Administer billing documents, billing plans, account determination, and credit/debit memos.

• Configure pricing procedures and pricing condition types.

• Integrate SAP SD with FI for revenue account determination, account keys, G/L accounts, and revenue recognition.

• Engage with SAP interfaces including IDOCs/BDOCs.

• Execute cross-functional integration with FI, CO, MM, IM, and PP modules.

• Implement or provide support for variant configuration.

• Conduct data migration from legacy systems using LSMW.

• Collaborate with global clients and support cloud-based operational excellence and compliance initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or equivalent qualification.

• SAP SD certification is required.

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP SD.

• Familiarity with customer master, material master, item categories, schedule line categories, stock transfers, credit management, copy control, output determination, and tax determination.

• Experience in shipping, transportation, and delivery processes.

• Proficiency in standard sales orders, scheduling agreements, returns, consignment, third-party processing, credit and debit memos, and contracts.

• Knowledge of partner functions, partner types, and partner determination procedures.

• Extensive understanding of customer master, material master, and Bill of Material (BOM).

• Significant experience with billing documents, billing plans, account determination, and credit and debit memos.

• Experience in configuring pricing procedures and pricing condition types.

• Knowledge of integration with the FI module, including revenue account determination, account keys, G/L accounts, and revenue recognition activities.

• Familiarity with SAP interfaces such as IDOCs/BDOCs.

• Cross-functional integration expertise with FI, CO, MM, IM, and PP modules.

• Experience with variant configuration, including variant classes, class types, characteristics, and pricing.

• Expertise in legacy system data migration and LSMW.

• Basic understanding of SAP Professional Services (CPM, PS, RA) and HR modules is a plus.
