Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engineer, develop, and deploy software solutions tailored for retailers utilizing connected store technologies on a large scale.

• Create web applications and sophisticated AI systems leveraging LLMs, Computer Vision, and multimodal technologies aimed at loss prevention, verification, and catalog management.

• Design and implement data pipelines and reverse ETL systems that incorporate computer vision, catalog and POS data, real-time location data, and inventory intelligence signals.

• Establish standardized API contracts for pricing, coupons, and loyalty systems across various retailer platforms.

• Spearhead the architectural design of backend systems and distributed infrastructures capable of processing vast amounts of data for millions of users.

• Develop frameworks and internal portals to facilitate automated integration testing, consolidated logging, and query-driven debugging.

• Drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at harmonizing development methodologies and enhancing customer shopping experiences.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or an equivalent foreign qualification).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the offered role or a related position.

• At least 5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Kotlin, or similar backend programming languages.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, or other frontend programming languages.

• At least 5 years of experience in advanced AI systems, including LLMs, Computer Vision, and multimodal technologies.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing robust backend systems and distributed infrastructure utilizing caching, retry logic, asynchronous workflows, and platforms like Temporal.

• At least 5 years of experience working with backend APIs.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting data pipelines and ETL systems for real-time data processing.

• At least 5 years of experience using monitoring and observability tools.
