Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and launch product enhancements that address customer needs

• Collaborate across backend and frontend systems

• Engage directly with customers and the go-to-market team to identify requirements and facilitate progress

• Design and refine solutions in partnership with designers, engineers, stakeholders, and customers

• Enhance product systems through refactoring, minimizing operational toil, automation, and simplifying workflows

• Ensure reliability through effective instrumentation, observability, and meaningful alerting

• Improve infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and automation for safe, frequent releases

• Contribute to shaping the technical direction of the product, platform, and engineering team

• Investigate how AI agents are transforming software development, operations, and risk management

• Participate in a shared on-call and in-hours support rotation, respond to incidents, and enhance systems post-incident

• Create tools for enterprise AI-agent visibility, governance, and risk management

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in at least one of Java, Python, TypeScript, Rust, or a comparable language

• Ability to quickly become productive in an unfamiliar codebase

• Experience delivering substantial production software in both greenfield and existing systems

• Background in on-call support, debugging under pressure, and improving systems post-incident

• Knowledge of secure software development practices and common vulnerabilities

• Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and containers

• Understanding of observability concepts, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerts

• Comfortable taking ownership in a dynamic environment with evolving products, processes, and tools

• Experience utilizing AI agents for pairing, automation, or workflow orchestration

• Ability to work sustainably during East Coast US hours
