Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in discussions regarding business and product, converting HR and Finance challenges into effective technical solutions.

• Design and enhance scalable, high-performance, and resilient systems.

• Implement best practices including Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Utilize AI coding tools, such as Codex and Claude Code, for prototyping, coding, refactoring, and expediting delivery.

• Manage the entire software lifecycle, from initial conception through deployment, monitoring, and production observability.

• Mentor mid-level and junior developers by conducting code reviews, engaging in pair programming, providing feedback, and sharing best practices.

• Suggest and experiment with new methodologies, technologies, and patterns.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams on rituals and continuous learning efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented and functional programming, design patterns, microservices architecture, and making technical trade-off decisions.

• Practical experience and fluency in the utilization of AI coding agents, including Codex and similar technologies.

• Background in supporting and maintaining production systems.

• Proficient in creating and interpreting metrics, alerts, and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A proactive mindset towards mentoring and facilitating team growth.

• Capability to link technical decisions to customer impact and business outcomes.

• Practical experience with Node.js, TypeScript, ReactJS, NestJS, MongoDB, and relational databases (preferred).

• Experience in product-led organizations (preferred).

• Familiarity with the payments market, payment schemes, or financial solutions (preferred).

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with CI/CD and containerization practices (preferred).
