Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop essential platform features that accommodate various constraints and use cases.

• Facilitate the shift from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based approach.

• Lead technical projects while providing expertise in data modeling, contract specifications, and API creation.

• Create both frontend and backend solutions with a focus on high-quality code and automated testing procedures.

• Collaborate with product managers, internal engineering teams, and relevant stakeholders.

• Develop innovative solutions that adhere to real-world limitations while ensuring flexibility and scalability.

• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), data modeling, and best practices in iterative development.

• Mentor and assist fellow engineers in their professional growth.

• Integrate Distributed Energy Resources into EnergyHub’s platform offerings.

• Assist in building APIs and scalable platform functionalities for IoT devices designed to balance the power grid.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong experience in full-stack development, encompassing frontend, backend, and relational database modeling and development.

• Proficient in React and Java, ideally Java 11 or higher.

• Familiarity with web services, gRPC/RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development methodologies.

• Capability to work independently, provide technical direction, and lead the team towards scalable solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Expertise in creating dynamic, responsive user interfaces utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Skilled in using AI tools for development and testing processes.

• Strong communication abilities and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
