Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design of systems that facilitate package creation, test generation, and image building.

• Develop pipelines integrated with LLMs that automate manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation processes.

• Assist in designing prompt architectures, evaluation loops, and quality control measures.

• Create CLI tools, services, and integrations using Go.

• Build automation tools and frameworks, including test generators, validation frameworks, and quality gates.

• Provide technical insights and ideas for roadmap development.

• Collaborate with colleagues across various time zones in the US, Canada, EU, and India.

• Construct systems that ensure packages and images are up-to-date, tested, and built efficiently with minimal manual oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating a history of designing and constructing intricate systems.

• Proficient in Go programming language.

• Knowledge of AI/LLM integration, particularly in utilizing language models for code generation, automation, or developer tools.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, assessment, and safety measures.

• Capability to design loosely-coupled, scalable systems while making practical trade-offs.

• Experience in developing developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of Linux and build systems.

• Familiarity with package managers like apk, apt, and rpm.

• Experience with build tools such as Make, Bazel, and language-specific toolchains.

• Proficient in containerization technologies.

• Expertise in the container ecosystem: Docker, OCI, container registries, and Kubernetes.

• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, work independently, and collaborate across teams and time zones.

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
